Access Computer Training provides a quality experience. Our top priority is supporting our students. We record all classes and offer one-on-one time with instructors outside class. We make house calls to those who need assistance setting-up equipment properly. We give students the opportunity to purchase equipment at a low cost. We provide free subscriptions to Microsoft 365 to enrolled students. We hold ourselves, trainers and staff, to a higher standard and ensure our students feel comfortable with the curriculum and its delivery. Most of all, we ensure that our graduates are happy with their experience and confident in their newfound knowledge.
Distractions are a part of life. Sometimes we just need someone to push us when we just don’t have the energy to push ourselves. At Access Computer Training, we are your accountability partner. We give our students the tools they need to make the most of their courses. Our students have 24/7 access to our online classroom to view recorded classes and other materials, as well as complete homework assignments and check on due dates. Our instructors provide comprehensive lessons to ensure our students have the tools they need to be competitive in their job search and successful in their future endeavors.
Helping our students achieve their career goals is our #1 priority. Our instructors are professionals who genuinely care about the well-being of our students. We offer professional development workshops to ensure students are getting noticed online and in person. Our professional development workshops include strategy sessions with personally assigned career coaches, resume assessments and edits, LinkedIn profile critiques, mock interviews, and on-demand lessons on subjects like time management and emotional intelligence (the most highly sought-after training in 2020). ACT is here to guide, advise, and direct our students in goal setting and goal achieving by creating actionable steps and holding students accountable so that they have the tools they need to meet their goals. Your goal is our goal. Your success is our success.
We believe in working closely with our students to form a relationship that helps us understand their why. Success stems from confidence and self-belief. Most of the time, what holds us back is a belief that we don’t have what it takes, that we can’t possibly do this or that, or that we are just not good enough, smart enough, talented enough, or don't have anything to offer. This is especially true as we get older. ACT is committed to working with our students to build confidence by transforming their beliefs, starting with self-talk. This makes a tremendous difference in our students' lives, especially when applying and interviewing for jobs.
We've had the pleasure of serving hundreds of students. In doing so, we've come to realize that everybody goes through something at one time or another. We have heard heart-wrenching stories over the years, from homelessness to hunger to toxic relationships and more. Our students are like family; we hurt with them, we cry with them, and we feel for what they are going through. We help our students through tough times by giving them opportunities to retake classes when necessary. We are happy to lend a listening ear or a leaning shoulder because we know it makes a world of difference.
